  •  Local Venue:  VIP Executive Art's Hotel

    The Workshop will take place in the VIP Executive Art's Hotel (see map), located in Parque das Nações which has been the site for expo98. This neighbourhood was an industrial area until 1994, and it is now strategically placed in Lisbon’s new modern business center. It offers an impressive Oceanarium, convenient access to fine restaurants, a pleasant shopping Mall and leisure activities. We encourage you to walk or jog along the river at sunrise.

    The Lisbon airport is about 4kms from the hotel. The easiest way to reach to the hotel from the airport is by taxi, there are various alternatives of public transport between the airport and the hotel. The train Station Oriente (one of the two main stations in Lisbon) is in the immediate vicinity.

    The local currency is Euro. There are many banks happy to exchange currency; however, the most convenient way is to use the numerous cash machines available all through the city. Almost all shops and restaurants accept major credit cards.

    The climate in early April is generally mild and sunny (daily maximum around 22 C), but rain showers and cool periods should not be ruled out.

    • The VIP Executive Art's Hotel is located in front of Parque das Nações, strategically placed in Lisbon’s new modern business centre. Close by one will find, at a short distance from the Hotel, the International Exhibition of Lisbon (FIL), as well as other services (Oriente Station, underground and bus) and leisure activities.

  • Arrival at airport

    • For those who arrive at the Lisbon airport we suggest to take a taxi to go to the hotel (VIP Executive Art's is located at Av. D. João II, Lote 1.18 1998-028 Lisboa - Portugal, the trip should cost no more then 8-10 Eur). We advise to take the taxi in the departures area instead in the arrivals area, since the service is better and probably cheaper.
